What is the best web hosting site for a business?

Question: Type of business: Beauty and cosmetics<BR><BR>I would like a web hosting site that is:<BR>afforable <BR>easy to use (edit, design, etc.)<BR>Is for businesses so it will accept credit/debit<BR>has a lot of free space to use!<BR><BR>Thanks!

Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.

If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

Do you have more suggestion? Do you disagree with us? Please leave your comment in the box below.

winninghosting.com is great. They are barebones like google was. They just focus on great service and have a super helpful staff. They know how to keep their costs way down but still have all the speed and great features you need so I always go with them and am always very pleased.

Now, what you really have to ask yourself is what kind of business are you launching…as in, how many visitors will your site get? Will you run a ton of scripts and database requests on the site?

Most shared hosting companies include the following:

Unlimited bandwidth, unlimited web space, unlimited databases (important), and unlimited emails as well as a great sitebuilder. Some also offer easy PEAR scripts, 1-click WordPress installation, a free domain, and a bonus.

If you get less than 20k visitors per month, and don’t run too many hardcore scripts…shared hosting will be fine. The cheapest reliable one I found (some are crap) was Greenville for only 9c/day. I was alway happy with their support and server uptime. If you absolutely want a few more Facebook/Google credits as a bonus, you can go with iPage and get $450 in credits. All come with a free domain, and easy WordPress installation which makes designing pages VERY easy, and Justhost even gives you 3 domains for a slight extra. The thing to note is that I would never pay more than $4.5/mo if they only give you 1 free domain!

Inmotion ROCKS too, when it comes to the server quality they are better than any of the others you mentioned. They are slightly more expensive, but with the right coupon it’s not that much more expensive and you’ll have another great benefit…you can upgrade at any time should you notice thousands of visitors are suddenly flooding your site. I know some people recommend Hostgator, but I HATE their support after finding out some of them can’t even answer the most basic questions. They’re also not the cheapest host out there.

If you want to upgrade because you’re expecting a ton of visitors or want to run extensive databases, I’d go with VPS. The speed increase will be significant and you’ll get your own IP which helps with ranking on Google. Liquidweb was slightly more expensive than the rest, but their support and sever infrastructure is EXCELLENT…so you’re willing to pay a small premium to get imo the best VPS (and dedicated) host, go for Liquidweb. They’ll also migrate your site to their servers for FREE if you sign up with the right coupon. Inmotion and myHosting are pretty even, but myHosting had a cool "3 months free" offer when I was looking for a new host, so I went with them…especially considering I now only pay 52c/day for super fast/reliable VPS hosting 🙂

The best dedicated host hands down is Liquidweb imo. I’ve tested a few others, but no other host was so helpful as they were when I ran into trouble. And unlike some others, they will actually do it and not give you some hogwash reason as to why they can’t do it. If you want someone to move your site, Liquidweb is your best bet. If you want the cheapest dedicated host out there, you should go with HostRocket’s $99/mo deal.

Anyway, whenever I’m looking for a new host, I check out coupons. Found out a lot of them are outdated on websites. The most up to date coupons I found were on a Twitter stream of a guy called "WebhostingD", he seems to update the coupons daily and has all major hosts. I’ve been using his stream for my past 5 hosts and was always happy with the deal I got. I’ll post the link bellow. Make sure to check out his/her Twitter stream once you know which host you want to go for. I think the 3 months free offer from MyHosting is still going by the way, not sure for how long though.

I’ve pasted the link to the coupon codes by WebhostingD under "sources"…been using them myself for a while now as they’re updated more frequently than on other websites.

iPage ($450 in free marketing credits, very experienced host): http://tiny.ly/hICk
Greenville (cheapest at only 9c/day, same features as iPage and the rest): http://tiny.ly/R54R
    Fatcow (friendliest support): http://tiny.ly/omTr
    Justhost: http://tiny.ly/64Fy
    Inmotion (excellent, fast servers): http://tiny.ly/tLBo
Liquidweb (THE best host hands down, slightly more expensive): http://bit.ly/gwBBh7
MyHosting (get 3 months free): http://bit.ly/hHAzSd
    Hostrocket (cheapest dedicated hosting): http://tiny.ly/0oVc
Hostgator (which I don’t recommend because they stuff their servers with too many customers per server): http://tiny.ly/pBgg
Bluehost (too expensive for what you get): http://tiny.ly/AodR

I recommend http://www.coverthosting.com, they have some articles on this and are very helpful. Some articles on just the basics of what you need, http://coverthosting.com/sell-online.html and information on credit card processing at, http://coverthosting.com/pci-compliance.html. They can also help you out when choosing the best route to get a website up and running that will be easiest for you to manage (Best Content Management System). They have cloud hosting and are best suited for any business especially if you expect any spikes in traffic or if you want to avoid the issues inherent with shared hosting.
