Web hosting business?

Question: My mother ranted to me today how she’s sick of finding a job and her profession that she wants to be able to run a small business at home.

I told her that I’ve been thinking about running a web hosting company- something that I’ve been researching for, for more than a month now.

I just want to talk about the legality of it. I am 16 going on 17. I’ve heard of teens running their own website business, but I want to know how can I legally run a web hosting business? License, permit, etc.? I want to be able to pay taxes and everything, of course.

I ran a business before, making less than 0.
Web hosting price varies, depending on the web space, bandwidth, features, etc. I’m definitely thinking about offering cheap hosting packages with free domains.

Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.

If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

Do you have more suggestion? Do you disagree with us? Please leave your comment in the box below.

Web Hosting can be a lucrative business to create but with stiff competition around its difficult to survive. Here are some simple methods to survive the competition:

    1. buy a domain related to hosting any thing like freehosting(dot)com, cheaphosting(dot)com any thing you wish.

    2. buy some automated user management script i.e. a script through which automated online order can be processed.

    3. buy a reseller hosting pack from a big webhosting company

A reseller hosting account comes with Admin control panel . WHM is where you go to create customer accounts. . Customer are provided with their own control panel called cPanel. This is where they will go to administer their website. Once they are logged into cPanel they can create sub domains, email addresses, change passwords, and much more without requiring any help from us.

Web hosting is legal as long as you pay taxes on anything you earn over $500. Although I’m not sure if people will be interested because web hosting is about $30 a year and you can own the right to your own domain name. I think you could create webistes, host them yourself, and make money through ad sense and other advertisements.

If you want to make real money, get with a reseller program that is known to pay well. Hostgator offers the most (in my opinion) as far as allowing you to be a business. By that i mean, you can set your own prices, manage your income and customers independently without paying percentages or fees for each customer you get. Most reseller programs make you pay a fee for each service you choose to offer trust me ex. $3.29 wholesale for basic hosting, then you will have to mark up to $3.99 to make a $0.70profit not very competitive pricing if you ask me with Hostgator you can charge $3.99 and make $3.99 in profit

    http://secure.hostgator.com/~affiliat/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=octoma just my $0.02 : )
