Hosting Japanese Business guests?

Question: I’m setting up an agenda for two Japanese business clients who are coming to the US with their wives. They are staying for four days, and the husbands have a business meeting each day. They are excited to come since its their first time in the States. Wives don’t speak English, but their husbands do, so theres no need for a translator. They want to see NYC and other attractions. The stay is in CT, but its very close to NYC. How do I greet them off the plane, have a driver or should I drive? Also what would you recommend showing them each day. Any tips? Pleeeease, Thanks in advance!

Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.

If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

Since they will staying for only four days, it would be impractical to try to converse with them either fully in English or fully in Japanese. There is obviously no time to get to any fluent level. Therefore, I would suggest buying a conversational book for simple phrases.

The first greeting as they are deplaning should be Hajimemashite (glad to meet you). Watakushi no namae wa ( name ) desu. (my name is ( ). America ni Yokoso (welcome to America). These simple greetings are very basic but will get the message across that they are welcome and that you have been kind enough to attempt to speak their language.

It would be best if you picked them up, as using another driver would probably be less personal. They will more than likely already have an idea as to what they want to see and do in NYC. But if they don’t, you may want to ask their husbands for more complex translations. I wouldn’t dwell on the language barrier inasmuch as I would want them to have a good time. Despite you not knowing Japanese and they not knowing English, they will appreciate the fact that you’ve attempted to give them a good, memorable visit. Good luck

From what I seen at both JFK, LGA, Newark Liberty International and Westchester County Airport, Japanese tour guides waiting for passengers from plane, they have NAME on it.

If you live near Metro-North Area, take bus or drive to Metro-North Station and take Metro-North Railroad to Grand Central. Suitcases must be put at home, because most museums does not allowed suitcase to be checked in coatroom.
Driving in New York City will be nightmare.
