I want to start an online business, are the free website hosting services good or is it beter to pay and wher
Question: where do I find the right host
Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.
If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

Very few of the free hosts are good for online businesses, because they only give you a sub domain name. There is one exception in my opinion though, that is www.bravenet.com You get free hosting and extras, but they give you an option of purchasing a domain name. The last time I checked it was $8.95/ year. I have had nothing but good experiences with Bravenet. You can pay for hosting with them too and get an even better options. However, I do not know the price for it. So do your own research, as planning is a very important stage in starting any kind of business. I host myself, you can access it via your PC name, IP address, anywhere in the world, anyone, any IP, no username (unless you want to), install http://www.apache.com/’s web server (try http://www.wampserver.com/), if you have it pre-installed, try http://iis.net/ for ASP.NET and PHP self (free) hosting. http://asp.net/ and http://php.net/ technologies MAY be included and it is always FREE for the amount of PC space you have. Then just install web application like forums, wikis and other web applications, easily (unless it is a different version or not plug ‘n’ play, then you will need to fix the code and settings (not that difficult if you know PHP, ASP.NET, JS, VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP or HTML/XML code.
Try forum hosting at http://instant-forum.com/ or http://cjb.net/
Commercial or not, up to you and your ISP.
