Opinions on best blog hosting site?
Question:
I want to start a website in blog format and I was wondering which host would be better. I am stuck between NetworkSolutions.com’s WordPress hosting package and GoDaddy.com’s hosting package. GoDaddy is a bit more expensive but looks like they have more features. Can anyone give me their opinion about which they think is better?

Personally I would avoid GoDaddy’s hosting because despite their size and market saturation a lot of people just seen to run into problems with them. Their primary business is domain registration and they are hard to beat in that area, but for hosting their are probably better choices.
Network solutions I have no direct personal experience of.
If you want solid information about hosting companies the best places are the specialized forums where you can get a lot of valuable feedback form people with real world experience. Check the resources below for the best hosting forum online.
I use and have used various hosting companies over the years but my current provider is without a shadow of a doubt the best I’ve ever had. They do provide shared hosting, which would be fine for a new blog, and their support is impeccable. I’ve linked to them in the resources too and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Again, you will find a lot of customer feedback about them on the forums if you run a search.
Remember that many people who post on here with recommendations are trying to earn a commission as an affiliate – nothing wrong with that but it doesn’t always mean they are offering the best, or impartial advice. Neither should you be swayed too much by "big numbers" and "unlimited everything" because everything has physical limits and it’s just a marketing ploy. Not to say it’s always a bad sign, just be aware that it doesn’t mean that much and can often be an indication of a host who is "overselling".
Good luck in your search.
I would google "wordpress godaddy" or "wordpress NetworkSolutions" and read some review of these two hosting site.
