Using Apple Mac with A Web Hosting
Question: I am using a Mac to design my website. Do I need special website hosting service? Would I be able to use those cheap web hosting companies?
Answer: You do not need any special web hosting service because your website will be hosted on the server. As long as you design your site and save as XHTML files, you should be able to upload the files to any server of your choice, be it Linux, Windows or even Mac (if there is any Macintosh web server). You just need an FTP or Fetch program to transfer your files to the web server.
