(small run magazine)
all help appreciated and if you know a good book related to having an online website let me know, thanks
Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.
If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

If you’re only loading static pages, you may be okay with Yahoo Web Hosting, but forget it if you use dynamic content with a database. (I believe this includes all of the popular blogging tools.)
I recently set up a PHP/MySQL site on yahoo hosting, and through Google Analytics discovered a few weeks ago that my traffic had dropped considerably for no apparent reason. When I went to my site, I got a message (built into the open source CMS I use) saying that the site couldn’t connect to the database.
I spent an hour or so on hold to reach a rep by phone, and the rep was courteous, etc. After some research, the rep told me there were others reporting this problem, and the cause was the web servers not connecting with the database servers. They sent a follow up email a day or so later saying the problem was fixed, blah blah, but it wasn’t. I had to send a couple of messages back and forth to convince them the problem was still present, explaining that I had set up Google Analytics to log the error message.
After a few days the problem disappeared for a week or so, but now is back with a vengeance. Now it takes longer for the error to appear on-screen, sometimes a couple of minutes, meaning most visitors won’t even stick around long enough for my error message to appear.
I’m shopping around for a new provider.

I have previously used Yahoo’s web hosting service but that was a few years ago. In all honesty I did not like it and found them a bit pricey. Also I found it took a while before my site was crawled even by Yahoo.
My advice is do a search on Google or Yahoo for web hosting providers you will get literally hundreds of them. Review them and find one that closely matches your needs. You will find one that is cheaper than Yahoo and more dependable too.
